Hi, we’re Ismael and Emilia, and we started Nacho Average Tutors because we’ve seen what the right tutor can do for a student!

Ismael has graduate training in biochemistry and medical science and has run a tutoring business before. Emilia earned her degree in biochemistry and is working toward becoming a dentist. We worked together before, and we knew we could build something even better as a team.

Here’s what we learned the first time around: grades are important, but the tutor you choose matters just as much. A tutor who knows the material but can’t explain it, or doesn’t show up ready, is just an expensive hour.

So we’re picky about who we bring on. Every tutor on our team is background checked, tested on the subjects they teach, and runs a practice session with us before they ever meet a student. Then we match you with someone who fits how you learn. And if it’s not clicking? Just tell us, and we’ll rematch you for free. No awkward conversation needed.

We tutor in person in Bryan-College Station and online from anywhere. Whether it’s a college course that’s kicking your butt or a big test coming up fast, we’ve got someone for that.

We can’t wait to help you!
